Valentine's Day

We had the most awesome date for Valentine's Day! Nate landed just before we had to take the train to NYC. We barely made the train! We went to a Moroccan restaurant called Zerza. It was absolutely fantastic! Our food had the most interesting flavor combinations, but somehow they all worked out and tasted divine. We had a dish called chicken bastilla. It was chicken, currants, and other things inside phyllo dough, kind of like a pot pie. It was sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar. It made my mouth smile :) There was also a belly dancer that had a headpiece of candles and scarves to dance with. It was awesome. She got a lot of the people in the restaurant involved, but somehow we got overlooked. Funny thing is, we'd probably be the ones most willing to shake our bellies! We then got home to pick up Keilah from the babysitter (she cried almost the whole night) and chilled at our house. It was so nice to have a night to ourselves. It seems like forever since Nate and I have been able to talk just the two of us for longer than 10 minutes. I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day and remembered all those you love. We have photos, but they're on Nate's work computer. I'll post them later :)

Sounds like a great date! I'm glad you got to have some one on one time with your hubby.
