The News

So, we couldn't watch Nik at the Olympics. NBC is so lame. Seriously.... who needs to watch Bela Karoli laugh and scream for Nastia Lutkin's tumbling grace more than twice? I think it was 10 times over the weekend. We're so proud of Nik and his hard work that he's put in. He didn't do exceptionally well, but he competed well and heck, he made it to the Olympics! Nik's in China now for about another week just chillin' and checking out the sites. We love you Nik!

In other news, Brady, Nate's brother, got married this last week. We went to Utah to see his sealing to his beautiful and fabulous wife, Teresa. Keilah loved playing with her cousins and her aunts and uncles. She ADORES her granparents and misses them already. She was looking at our family photos and pointed out to me everyone she saw. She's such a smart cookie. Sorry for everyone I didn't see out in Utah. It was such a quick trip that we didn't do anything but play with our family. Next time I'm out, I'll let y'all know and we'll have tons of time to play!

Last news, we're moving to Dallas in a week!!!!! It honestly couldn't have come at a better time. Reason 1: We get back from Utah and Nate has to climb into our second story kitchen window b/c the real estate agent for our landlords took our key. Reason 2: We have the most DISGUSTING crickets in our basement. They're called "spotted camel crickets" if anyone wants to Google it. Nate's been a manly man and has killed them all. So sick. Reason 3: We have mold in our basement. Our landlords think it's our fault the house is not renting and the mold is our fault. Reason 4: Our landlords are old and ignorant. They think our first/last months rent AND our deposit cover rent and we shouldn't get our deposit back. Enough complaining. I'm going to miss my friends, but that's about it. Pics to come....
