We had a great Halloween here in Texas.  It was fun and loaded with candy!  Keilah and I started off the day going to the Ft. Worth Zoo with our friends, the Reeds.  Keilah had fun seeing the monkeys, lions, and riding the carousel horse and train.

In the late afternoon/early evening our ward had a trunk-or-treat.  Nate stood by the car handing out our candy while I took Keilah around to the other cars.  Keilah got so much candy and many ''oohs'' and "ahs" over how adorable she looked.  She needless to say was the cutest Minnie I've ever seen :).  There was a family in our ward that brought a blow-up spook alley and set it up in the parking lot.  Inside there was a "mad scientist lab" and smoke, noises, and drippy blood and guts.  Outside there were coffins, witches, and other scary statues.  Keilah didn't get scared at all.  She just laughed and clapped at everything.

After the trunk-or-treat we went over to our friends, Justin and Emma Lee.  They had totally decked out their house.  They had converted their garage into a spook alley.  There was a person lying down on a table next to the candy.  Strobe lights, smoke machines, and scary sounds added to the effect.  When a child came up to get the candy, the person lying down would pop up and scream.  Scary, but not even the tip of the iceberg.  Out from behind some black "walls"  (black tarps) came Justin and his bros-in-law with scary masks.  They'd scream and chase the kids down the driveway.  We just sat there, watched, and laughed.  Keilah again wasn't scared at all.  She just laughed and clapped at everyone's reactions.

We sat on the grass, chatted, ate some candy, and then went home to bed.  Dallas had a temperature of about 80 degrees on Halloween.  The weather was nice, the food was plentiful, the friends were spooky, and Keilah had fun.  What more could we have asked for?!

Keilah-you are officially the CUTEST minnie mouse I have ever seen. You have inspired me to start letting Ava watch that show so maybe she'll want to be that next year!
