Time flies! My little Linnea is already three weeks old today! We've had such a great time with her. Linny is a great baby and everyone loves her to bits and pieces. It's been an interesting three weeks. We've been to the doctor's four times in the last 2 weeks all just to find out that Linnea's a healthy little girl. She had her first check-up, then her belly button was reallllllllly stinky so I took her in case it was infected (which it wasn't. It was just really stinky!). Then we went for her two week check-up only to go back 5 days later (yesterday) because her left eye has a clogged tear duct and she has "drainy goopy eye." Nothing serious and she's still so cute :). I'm very blessed and grateful that it's only minor problems and not something worse. I promise I'm not one of those paranoid moms who think her daughter's dying with every leaky or runny ooze coming out of her!

I am glad that all is well! You need to post pictures of your cute Linny. How fun that both moms were able to come and stay for awhile. I am still adjusting to having a newborn around and hope that I will be out and about soon like you are!

I'm so glad to hear that everything is going well. She is a cutie. Jayne had a clogged tear duct too. It still acts up when she gets a cold or has allergies. If it gets infected, i've learned that the best thing is to squirt mothers breast milk in her eye. I works so much better than anything else bec. it has millions of antibodies in it that just cleans it all out. and just massage it too throughout the day. When Jaynes was really bad, I would make a point to massage it every time I nursed her. hope that helps.

Oh it goes by too fast. she is so cute, we need to do a get together soon, let me know when you are up to it.
