Six Things People Don't Know About Me:

1. I LOVE Vaseline! It's a true obsession of mine. I use Vaseline on my hands in the morning and at night before going to bed. I also use it on my lips and around my eyes before going to bed. Nate doesn't like to kiss me goodnight when I have an extra amount of Vaseline on my lips. If I don't go through this routine, I go crazy because my hands feel so dry! Vaseline is great on the heels of your feet, elbows, basically any part of the body. And another great thing is it takes off some waterproof mascara! I think I should be the Vaseline poster board lady.

2. I have very litte eyebrow. Only a few people know this like best buds, roomies, and family. I never had a lot of eyebrow growing up and mostly my eyebrows are quite blonde. I shaped them once upon a time (I think it was on my mission) and it never grew back. Therefore, I look significantly different if I don't have "my eyebrows on" as my grandmother used to say. I rarely, rarely, rarely go out in public without makeup on because I do look so strange. I also feel like I have to wear eyebrow pencil and mascara or I wouldn't look like my driver's license photo and I'd be arrested (my eyelashes are pretty blonde too).

3. I hate doing the dishes. I put it off as long as possible. I just don't like all the icky food stuck on the pans after cooking and then having to clean other people's plates and stuff like that. I told Nate that I wasn't going to move to Connecticut unless I got a good dishwasher and boy have I used our dishwasher! The only things I don't put in the dishwasher are my non-stick pans. I know this is totally not "green" and I'm probably depleting the world all by myself, but it saves my sanity!

4. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to a few things. I only use expensive makeup, like Clinique, Lancome, and MAC. I have to use really good hair products. I only go to my hairstylist who lives out in Utah. This is really hard sometimes because I go for months without getting out there! I only use Colgate Total toothpaste (holy cow I love this stuff. My teeth feel so clean!). I've tried and tested a ton of different products and I know that it's worth getting the higher quality sometimes.

5. I'm in love with Elvis Presley. I know a lot of people know this, but it's not been as openly admitted lately. I'm not in love with old druggie and fat Elvis. I'm talking about pre-Priscilla Elvis. He was sooooooo handsome. I love his voice and his passion for his music. I love the dorky Elvis movies too. I can't watch too many at a time or I feel like puking, but they're great when you want some good tunes and mindless movie watching. I've done several psych papers on Elvis and he was pretty screwed up, but hey, we all have our secret guilty pleasures and now he's my not-so-secret crush :) (Yes, Nate knows about this and he's fine with it. It might help that the E-dawg is deceased).

6. I'm 10 months older than my husband. That doesn't sound like a lot, but sometimes it feels like it. I'm 27 (!!!!!!) right now and Nate's only 26. I know it's just a number, but sometimes I feel like he has the advantage because he sees me doing stuff at my age and he gets them done almost a year earlier. This doesn't make much sense, but my brain functions oddly at times. Usually I don't notice until people tell me that their husbands are 4 or 5 years older than they are. Of course, then I get to brag because I'm "Mrs. Robinson" to my hubby (for those of you who have no idea about what I'm talking about, go see "The Graduate"). Does any of this make any sense? Probably not. It might be my old age :)
