We Miss Daddy!

This is one of those weeks where we wish we had wings to fly. Nate is on a huge business trip and won't be back until the middle of next week. We're lucky we got to spend time with him down in Greenwich, Connecticut (right near the Westchester County Airport on the border of NY state). Nate's flight was delayed 2 hours so Keilah and I drove the 20 min. down to the airport and met Nate for a wee bit. We drove around and looked at the beautiful fall foliage around town. Keilah loves her daddy so much and is going to miss him. He makes her laugh like no other person can. Nate travels to Austin tonight. Tomorrow (Wed.) night he flies to Nashville. Then Thurs. night he flies to L.A. Saturday until Monday is spent in Utah on an "extended layover" in which Nate gets to celebrate his dad's birthday. Then Monday night Nate flies to Oklahoma City and is there until he flies home next Wednesday afternoon. Can we say "awful?"!!! I'm going to miss him terribly, but I'm also glad it's not me travelling all those miles and time changes! The best thing about this situation is that Nate can now upgrade to first class at no charge (I get to also if I fly with him!) and we got a ton of frequent flyer miles. Keilah and I are staying busy here in New Canaan by playing with other kids and moms and getting ready for the holidays. We're so grateful for all the hard work Nate does to take care of us. We're very lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives. The pictures of Keilah are attached to this post because Nate's the one that made her laugh in all of them :)
