We've been pretty busy getting to know our neighbors and our neighboring areas. This past week Keilah and I went with some new friends in our ward to the Fort Worth Zoo.

My mom also stopped out for a visit for a few days. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it was! We didn't do anything too super fancy; it was just nice having my mom around. She'd play with Keilah so I could shower and get ready or cook dinner or just relax. She went with me to Keilah's first doctor's appointment out here in Texas and helped Keilah laugh in the examining room. She bought Keilah some cute clothes and an adorable purse which she will not put down! This picture I got was of all of us eating at Anamia's, a fantastic Tex-Mex place in Southlake. I miss my mom already and can't wait to see her during the holidays!

I'm so glad you are making some good friends already. I knew you would. I'm also glad you were able to have your mom with you for a little while. She's a great lady.
