In Loving Memory

This week one of my most favorite people in the entire universe passed away, Joy Stout.  Joy and Frank Stouts were a couple in my mission, serving only in Botswana.  Frank passed away just after Nate and I got married.  They meant the world to me and now they are together at last.  Frank and Joy were two of the most giving, loving, caring, and selfless people you'd ever know.  If I would like to be like anyone, it would be Joy Stout.  They made my mission memorable in so many ways.  If it weren't for them, I don't know how long I would've lasted those first few months of my mission. Joy will be missed by all of us missionaries who had the opportunity to serve with "Mom Stout."  Until we meet again.....

ROSALINE STOUT
Rosaline Joy Stout (Fallentine), age 74, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to her Heavenly
Father Tuesday, October 21, 2008 in Bullhead City. Joy had her health until the last week of her life when it was cut short by a pulmonary embolism.
Joy was born September 11, 1934 in Westwood Calif. to Henry Donald Winter and Rosaline May Conley. She spent her life in service of her
children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She married Eugene Fallentine, and then later divorced. Later she married Franklin Lyman Stout and sealed in the Oakland Temple on March 25, 1974.
Joy attended each of her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids high lights in life and never missed an invite from them to attend anything. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many capacities for the church, and served any and all who came into her paths. Joy and Frank served as missionaries in the Johannesburg South Africa Mission and were assigned to Gabororne, Botswana. They would always say it was the best two years of their lives.
Joy was able to work close by Frank in the later years of her life as they both worked at Smith’s where Frank was a pharmacist and Joy worked in that area of the store. Any shoppers were greated by Joy’s infectious smile and kindness. She loved her job, the people she worked with and her many customers.
Joy was preceded in death by her father; brother, Jay Winter; and son, Allen Fallentine.
She is survived by her mother, Rose; mother-in-law, Cuella Stout; five surviving children: Ralph Fallentine (Ronalyn); Deanna Hilton (Andy); Scott Fallentine; Chris Fallentine (Krissy); and Brad Fallentine (Deborah); Franks three sons, Ron Stout, Jeff Stout, and Mike Stout (Becky); 30 grandchildren: Ben, Mindy, Eric, Jami, Emma, Tanner, Matt, Cameron, Dan, Aaron, April, Kim, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Afton, Jared, Nathaniel, Jordan, Brendan, Chet, Brooke, Brittany, C.J., Chad, Zachery, Emma, Melyssa, D.J., and Bradley; nine great-grandchildren: Karlee, Kyra, Bella, Cheyenne, Destiny Rose, McKyla, Trevon, Elijah and Rian; and by Kathy Kent.
Viewing will be held at 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 25th, followed by services at 11:30 a.m. at the Rivergardens Ward House located at 1690 Rivergardens Dr., Bullhead City, Arizona.
Special thanks to those at the hospital and
Rivergardens Ward for their service to the family.
