Here are 5 things I love about the first trimester of pregnancy:
1. No more visits from "Aunt Flo." Hallelujah!
2. My chest size grows (it shrunk after nursing Keilah)
3. The final realization that I'm pregnant and get to have a child!
4. It's a great excuse to look at newborn clothing.
5. Nate steps in and does an amazing job of helping me out when I need it.
Here are 5 things I hate about the first trimester:
1. Constant nausea. I don't throw up. I've never been one to throw up, but I'm so nauseous that I wish I would sometimes. I can't cook (one of my passions) and smelling food or thinking of it is a terrible ordeal.
2. The fatigue. I thought it was tiring with Keilah when I worked and went to school all day. Oh no... Keilah's energy triples my fatigue (love it still though. She's hilarious).
3. The stupid dreams. I can't tell you how many people from junior high and high school pop into my pregnancy dreams after not seeing them or thinking of them for 10 years!
4. I don't like to wear anything but yoga pants and t-shirts. I hate the feeling of confinement over my belly.
5. The waiting game. Why is the first trimester so dang long?!?!?!?!?! C'mon. I just want to feel better, look pregnant, and have the "glow!" (I hate not being able to dye my hair. I look like I'm white trash right now with my horrible roots).
Still, I am dang lucky and blessed to be having another child. I just needed to vent for a few minutes. Thanks. I'm done now.
