Yesterday (Tues. Jan. 27th) I got to hang out with one of my favorite people of all time, Julie. Julie and I have known each other since we were about three years old. The Lunceford Family and my family shared a backyard fence growing up and we'd play at each other's houses constantly. Even when our families moved, they moved in the same ward boundaries so that now, 25 years later, our families are still really close friends. I haven't seen Julie since 2003 (I think), right after I got back from my mission. Julie was married and had her first girl by then and I was the awkward RM who was freaked out about everything :). Needless to say almost 5 years later and we've both changed, but still remain good friends. Julie has 3 adorable daughters and a great husband. Julie and Travis stopped by yesterday for a quick visit as they drive through the vastness of Texas to set up home in New Mexico (they moved from Georgia). Keilah had a blast playing with the Katelyn and Alia and adored looking at newborn Tara. Julie and I stay caught up on each other's lives through blogs and family gossip. It was short (I could've talked to her for days!), but fantastic and I am so glad that they took time out of their driving to stop by and see me and Keilah. It was a great visit and I'll be praying that it's not another 5 years before we see each other again!

I'm glad she was able to stop by and say hello! My mom said it took them a few days to travel through Texas. I was wondering she was able to stop by. It had been 5 years since I had seen her too! hopefully you guys will be able to visit each other more often
love ya
So glad that Travis and Julie stopped to see you. I didn't realize that you two really haven't seen each other. I forget that when you are here, she isn't and visa versa. How fun to see the two of you together. Fun to see a picture of her on your blog.
It was so fun to see you again! I am so glad we were able to stop by and see you. Maybe next time we will be able to meet your husband.
Congratulations Annika. How exciting. And you have an absolutely gorgeous family picture on the blog. Talk to you soon.
