What a morning!!!

I had to document this just because it was so crazy!  About 4:00 this morning Keilah woke up and insisted on me coming upstairs to tuck her back into bed.  I turned off her baby monitor b/c I figured the lights on it were annoying.  So, I go downstairs to my bed (Nate's out of town by the way so I'm doing this all on my own) and I start to hear piano music.  I thought, "Did someone start playing the piano at 4:30 and left their window open?"  Seriously, I was bugged.  I finally turned on my sound machine and drifted in and out of sleep.  Finally at 6:00 AM I heard "Mommy!" and figured it was late enough to bring Keilah into bed with me for a little bit.  I go upstairs and she was sound asleep until I walked up to her crib.  Now I was totally confused.  Well, I took Keilah downstairs with me and I heard a woman's voice.  Yeah, I had forgotten to turn off my side of the baby monitor and it was picking up the house next door.  They have a little baby so they must've had a mobile or other music on and that's what the sound was.  I was so mad at myself for not figuring it out at 4:30 so I could've gotten more sleep.

So, the day gets even better and it's not even 8:00 by this time yet!  I go online to Amazon.com to check out the order status of a pack n' play that we bought.  Turns out that not only did I forget to use the gift card when I bought it 3 days ago, but I bought the wrong model!  I'm such a dork.  This  model is still great and will work for both Keilah and the new baby, but man... I'm seriously spacey!

Then Nate calls while I'm just getting into the shower.  We webcam while he's away so Keilah can see him.  I hurry and attempt to shave my legs while in the shower and Keilah grabbing at the razor (she insists on showering with me every morning) and rush out so we can webcam with Daddy.  The webcaming goes fine and Keilah is having a great time talking to Nate.  I try to brush through my hair and then I realize, I forgot to condition my hair!!!  So I had to go and wash my hair all over again.  I just laughed a lot by this time because everything silly happened this morning.  I'd blame it all on pregnancy brain, but I think I get busy sometimes and just forget!  Anyway, by 10:00 everything was normal and the rest of the day was great :)
