My recent TV obsessions

I have become a lover of all things American Idol and Dancing With the Stars. AI is so much better this year than last, mostly because there's no Sanjaya. Wahoo! I'm quite pleased with the Top 10, although I wish Kristy Lee Cook would screw her voice on straight :) I'm also so impressed with David Archuleta and Brooke White. Way to represent guys! Who would've thought that Mormons would get this far and have such a fighting chance in such a screwed up business? Props to them and their hot voices.

Onto DWTS. I loved this show last year (again Mormons! although Julianne dresses like a skank) and I'm excited for this season because of two people and I know most of you know one of them... Priscilla Presley. I'm all about Elvis and when I heard that Priscilla was going to be on, I was first shocked, then excited. Have you noticed how quiet and reserved she is, but she dances amazingly well for a 62-year-old? Yes, she's had Botox and lifts and tucks, but most women do in Hollywood these days. Priscilla has my total vote. Ok so the other person I'm so excited to see is Mario. Most people don't know who he is, but I was introduced to him by my lovely mission comp/roomie Ashley. When we were roomies in college she had this strange obsession with his song, "Let Me Be The One." We would sit and watch his music video and try to learn the dance. I'm sure Ash has this on file, or something, but it was hilarious. Mario is also getting sweet awesome reviews and I'm excited to see him progress. So my two favs for this season are the oldest contestant and the youngest. I know how to pick 'em!\
