Nate and I did it! We made it two years! Today is our anniversary. March 30, 2006 Nate and I were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. It's been quite the ride. In the past 2 years, Nate and I have gotten married (duh), moved to Taiwan, moved back from Taiwan, got pregnant, took the GMAT (that was Nate), graduated from college (both of us!), had a baby, moved to Connecticut, and a whole bunch of other stuff in the middle. Needless to say, I could've never done all these things if it weren't for Nate. He's my driving force in so many things I do. He makes me laugh almost ALL the time and gives me opportunities to learn. He's an amazing father to Keilah and loves that little girl to bits and pieces. I was really blessed to have found him (thanks again Leif!). I thought I'd make a Top Ten Reasons I Love Nathan Phillips. Here goes...
1. He's a worthy Priesthood holder with a testimony of gold. He stays true to his covenants and always strives to learn more about the gospel.
2. He's dang sexy.
3. He's hilarious. Yes, Nate, even when I say you're not funny, you are. You make me laugh all the time and keep me on my toes.
4. He's extremely ambitious. Nate gets an idea in his head and he obsesses over that idea until he finds a way to make that idea fruitful. It's allowed us to have many wonderful experiences in our lives (ie, Taiwan, NYC, snorkeling in Thailand).
5. He loves Keilah. He is so sweet with her and can make her laugh like nobody else can.
6. He loves to sing, even when the words are wrong and he's off key. He's an amazing pianist!
7. He makes friends wherever he goes. He's so outgoing and nice that you can't help but love the guy :)
8. He's grown to love my cooking. I'm not a bad cook, but I like to experiment and he's been very patient with me as I burn, over-salt, or undercook things ;)
9. Who else could put up with me? For those of you who really, really, really know me, know I'm hopelessy flawed. Nate has taught me how to love in a whole new way. Props to him for all the puts up with :)
10. Most obviously, he loves me!
Nate took me to see The Little Mermaid on Broadway last night for our anniversary date. It ws amazing! You all should try and see it. The new songs are just as great as the original songs. Ariel has a voice of gold and Flounder, well, that kid can sing! Here's some pics of our outing:

Well I really, really, really know you and i don't think you're hopelessly flawed. I think you are great and I am glad you have such a great husband. Congrats on the anniversary!
I really know you too and I think you are close to perfect. You have always been such a wonderful example to me and a wonderful friend. I miss you. Happy Anniversary!
Congratulations!! Two years is so great and I'm so proud of you and the life you're living! I'm sure you feel very blessed!
For the record, you’re a wonderful companion and roommate...I should know!! :-) If Nate can handle your occasional outbursts of song, laughter, and dancing than I'm sure you'll have a long and happy marriage.
Congratulations!
Happy Anniversary!! btw: Stef and I were talking about how amazing you look! Just to let you know! :)
Happy Anniversary! You two are so cute! Looks like a fun evening and it great you can have someone to watch Keilah.
